HylexMC Global Rules

In force since 4 September 2022. By playing on HylexMC or using any of our services, you agree to these rules.

The Basics

Obey the Discord Community Guidelines and the Minecraft EULA at all times.

Respect HylexMC

We are always trying to improve, and anyone can help us do that. If you would rather not help, that is fine, but do not complain. The same respect applies when talking to other members.

Advertising

Sharing another server's name or any invite link counts as advertising and is not allowed. YouTube links are only allowed in the Discord channels designated for media and support.

Channels

Use every channel for its specific purpose only.

Unfair Advantage

• Client modifications that give you any benefit a vanilla client does not have are forbidden.
• Abusing glitches in the game or the client is not allowed.
• Teaming with players who are not on your team is not allowed.
• If you discover a teammate using forbidden modifications, report them with /report. Knowingly playing with them is punishable too.

Account Sharing

Sharing, selling or giving away your HylexMC account or password is not allowed. If you share your account, you are responsible for every consequence: losing your rank, bans, mutes or any other punishment issued to it.

Chat

• Do not mention or tag others without a valid reason.
• No spamming or flooding the chat.
• No swearing in public chats.
• No NSFW or similar topics.
• Do not lie to, grief or threaten other players.
• Racism, sexism and any other kind of discrimination are never tolerated.
• Be friendly, and treat others the way you want to be treated.

Why do we have these rules?

HylexMC is meant to be a fun place to play and relax without problems, and a friendly environment for everyone.

Punishments

Most punishments are IP based and have no fixed duration, which means a punishment can be permanent even for something as small as swearing in chat. Repeated or serious offenses can end in a permanent ban, or a full network and guild wipe. Our rules are simple, and we will not hesitate to enforce them.
